Budtender/Compliance Associate

Colorado Weedery--the Western Slope's premier recreational cannabis dispensary in beautiful Palisade--is searching for a qualified, motivated, and dedicated Budtender/Compliance Associate. This is a full-time position, and a great opportunity to build a lasting career in the rapidly growing cannabis industry. As a Budtender/Compliance Associate, you will be responsible for providing best-in-the-industry service while efficiently validating patients’ identification and assisting them with the check-in process. As well as presenting our wide array of cannabis products while following all applicable regulations and providing outstanding service to each and every customer. We are seeking enthusiastic, personable budtenders who can use their extensive cannabis product knowledge to guide customers to the appropriate medical or recreational product and provide impeccable customer service while complying with all regulations. Budtenders must provide customers with prompt service and quality products while maintaining a clean, safe and comfortable store environment. Budtenders also should keep abreast of the latest developments in cannabis laws and regulations to ensure legal compliance.

IMPORTANT: A Colorado Marijuana Enforcement Division occupational license ("MED badge") is a regulatory necessity for this position, and requires a thorough, nationwide criminal background check be performed prior to issuance by the State of Colorado.

Requirements

• Must have open scheduling availability (mornings, midday, and evenings)

• Must be willing and able to stand and speak for extended periods of time

• Must have a valid Colorado Marijuana Enforcement Division Occupational License ("MED badge")

• Must have cash handling experience

• Retail sales and customer service experience preferred
