Summary

The Territory Sales Representative is the ultimate brand ambassador for MTYK’s growing family of brands and is responsible for selling products to dispensaries within the assigned territory. Primarily the Sales Representative will be mining sales opportunities, building client relationships, growing existing client sales, selling to new clients and promoting the diverse product line.   This is a great opportunity for a professional salesperson to enter the cannabis industry. This role is a remote position but requires Oklahoma residency and an Oklahoma driver's license.  Successful candidates will be provided with an Oklahoma Agent License but must pass the background check and have reliable transportation.

Working Environment

Working hours will be filled with meeting people and visiting clients. The Territory Sales Reperesentative makes their own schedule but the most successful ones see 8+ clients a day.

MTYK started four years ago as Star 46 Farms, known for its high quality, consistent flower, and RSO products. Now MTYK partners with well-known edibles and packaged cannabis brands to bring Oklahoma dispensaries a variety of high-quality, compliant products from one vendor.

Responsibilities

  • Sell and service target accounts in assigned territory

  • Develop new opportunities to generate and grow sales from past clients and prospects.

  • Identify new opportunities to sell and cross-sell our entire product line to grow business with existing accounts and maximize the sales revenues from these accounts.

  • Educate, engage, and train all clients on MTYK brands and product lines

  • Travel within sales territory to meet prospects and clients

  • Conduct face-to-face meetings and calls with clients daily to address concerns and provide solutions

  • Develop pipelines, targets, and innovative strategies to increase opportunities and sales in the territory

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients (dispensaries) and business partners to effectively evaluate, set, and exceed their needs

  • Proactively build touchpoints and a weekly schedule to keep territory sales on track to reach all sales goals.

  • Follow all sales protocols and SOPs 

  • Pop - Up events

Ability to lift and walk with sample case.

Experience

Qualifications

  • 2+ years route sales experience in an outside B2B environment to retailers preferred; or experience in the cannabis industry

  • Knowledge of CRM systems and technology enabling you to collect and share information regarding your clients and track all activity, orders, etc., as it pertains to each client

  • Highly motivated, extremely positive attitude, self-starter with a solid work ethic, very organized, and an effective closer

  • Excellent communicator, outstanding client service skills, and able to influence others

  • Strong problem-solving skills, able to think fast and create sales opportunities

  • A team player who can work effectively with clients, budtenders, and team members. 

  • Cannabis product knowledge

Must Haves:

  • Must pass a background check in accordance with state laws. 

  • Must be and remain compliant with all legal and company regulations for working in the industry

  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and a reliable automobile

  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
