Marketing & Sales Assistant

As a Marketing & Sales Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our sales and marketing departments. You will assist in executing marketing campaigns, help manage social media platforms, handle administrative duties in both sales and marketing, and providing exceptional customer service to our clients. The position is on-site in our brand new expansion of our facility in Northridge.

Key responsibilities: - Assist in the execution of marketing campaigns and initiatives to promote our brand and products - Help manage and update social media platforms, including content creation and engagement with followers - Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly - Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to develop creative strategies to increase brand awareness and drive sales - Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to identify new opportunities for growth - Assist in organizing and attending promotional events, trade shows, and community outreach programs - Maintain accurate records of sales and marketing activities, including campaign performance metrics and customer feedback

- Maintain records and generate reports for retail sales department

- Be the liaison between the director of marketing & sales with other departments

- Help with brand and product development

Required skills

- Minimum 21 years old due to legal requirements for working in the cannabis industry - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and team members - Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines - Proficient in social media platforms and digital marketing tools - Knowledge of cannabis industry regulations and compliance - Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment - Detail-oriented with a keen eye for design and aesthetics - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

- Ability to take direction as well as being a self starter who takes initiative on projects and foresees what will be needed

Desired skills

- Previous experience in marketing or sales, preferably in the cannabis industry - Familiarity with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Canva) - Understanding of SEO principles and content marketing strategies - Knowledge of CRM software and email marketing platforms - Passion for the cannabis industry and staying up-to-date with industry trends - Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and ever-changing work environment - Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish

Minimum 2 year associates degree
