Halara is a young, fast growing, cannabis extraction company based in Santa Rosa, CA. We produce and sell premium vape cartridges from all the way up in Humboldt down to the southern border. Our founders are three chemical engineers who met in college and quit their jobs in Petroleum and Pharmaceuticals to bring education and chemistry to the field of cannabis.

We are looking to hire a motivated Sales Representative to be the face and voice of the Halara brand on the central coast. You will work closely with our Sales & Marketing teams by cultivating and maintaining prosperous relationships with dispensary buyers and/or owners, as well as assisting with brand representation at events.

As a remote employee of Halara, you will be responsible for cultivating and maintaining existing relationships with dispensary buyers and/or owners across your assigned territory, as well as networking in order to connect new retailers and their customers with Halara products. To succeed in this role, you will need to cold call, email, visit in-person, utilize social media, and think strategically to connect with buyers and complete sales. You will need to be tenacious, outgoing, and possess an expert-level understanding of sales techniques, cannabis, our products, their applications, and the services that we offer.

Salary

$55,000.00 - $100,000.00 / year

Working Environment

As a remote employee, your working environment will mainly be in-store (attending meetings, checking in on store displays, hosting events), as well as at your home office (zoom, administrative duties, etc). Onsite meetings are held bi-monthly, and in-person attendance is required in Santa Rosa, CA.

Role Requirements

Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients.

- Identify and pursue business development opportunities to expand the client base.

- Conduct market research to identify potential customers and their needs.

- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and execute promotions and demo days.

- Prepare and deliver sales presentations to prospective clients.

- Manage accounts and provide ongoing support to clients.

- Meet sales targets and goals.

- Lead patient and budtender education days (PADs)

- Meet or exceed sales targets and goals.

- -Communicate marketing opportunities to the Marketing Team and assist with execution of marketing.

- Schedule and input sales orders to be completed by our Fulfillment team.

- Occasionally assist with fulfillment / last mile delivery / other duties.

- Occasionally travel to outer territory

- Attend quarterly onsite training in Santa Rosa

- Participate In weekly Sales Meetings and monthly 1:1 meeting to discuss progress.

- Drive frequently to visit dispensaries to assess shelf displays, make suggestions and improvements to visual marketing displays of Halara products.

Physical Requirements

- Ability to sit / drive for long periods of time, several times per week

- Occasionally require to lift / carry supply boxes (10-20lbs) to/from event setup

Experience

- 3+ years of experience in a sales role with a history of account acquisition and growth*. - Cannabis sales experience - established relationships with cannabis retailers is a bonus.

- Valid CA Driver's License and ability to drive / be on the road for 10+ hours per week*.

- Ability to analyze sales performance using digital tools, identifying successful tactics and implementing new tools/approaches to achieve goals.

- General understanding of marketing tools and how to utilize them.

Education

- College degree or equivalent work experience.

- Strong sales and negotiation skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to build rapport and maintain relationships with clients.

- Proficient in HubSpot or similar CRM software.

- Creative thinking & problem solving.

- Strong writing, phone, and presentation skills.

- Ability to foster and maintain strong customer relationships.
