Our client is seeking a dynamic and passionate Part-Time Senior Brand Representative to join their team in Detroit, MI who will be working days with hours that are flexible, starting at 12-15 hours per week. We are looking for someone who is passionate about cannabis, the science behind it, and bringing a new product to market. If that's you, let's connect.   The product is a THC-free “Enhancer.” Using a scientific approach, our client has pioneered this new cannabis category which are products full of botanicals, adaptogens, and nootropics that, when taken along with your cannabis of choice, activates additional receptors than cannabis can alone.   The result? An enhanced and healthier cannabis experience that creates more focus, sociability, energy, and recovery. Consume with your favorite cannabis format, whether flower, vape, tincture, or gummies!   As a key player in our cannabis business development, you will play a crucial role in educating local dispensary staff, managing merchandising and displays, gathering feedback from accounts, and supporting sales efforts within a designated territory. For the right candidate, there is an opportunity for full-time employment.

Role Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Educate local managers, buyers, and budtenders about the features, benefits, and selling points of our products within the designated territory.
  • Regularly visit assigned dispensaries to update promotional materials, verify product placement, check displays/inventory, and ensure the brand is appropriately represented.
  • Gather feedback from dispensary accounts on customer preferences, market trends, and competitor activities, and communicate insights to the territory manager.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with dispensary staff, addressing concerns and providing necessary support to enhance brand presence.
  • Execute merchandising strategies to promote product sales and enhance brand visibility within the territory.
  • Assist in communication and delegation of work among junior Brand Representatives

Experience

  • Must reside in the Greater Detroit-Metro area
  • Passion for the cannabis industry - cannabis industry experience is a plus, but not required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Adaptability and attention to detail
  • Proactive approach and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Previous experience in retail merchandising and customer-facing roles
  • Prior experience in a customer service environment
  • Friendly, approachable, and outgoing personality
  • Working knowledge of social media platforms and tools
  • Adaptable with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds comfortably
  • Availability to work events that could last 8+ hours
  • Some weekend availability is a plus
