Corporate Strategy & Business Development Analyst

JOB SUMMARY:

• Partner with functional leaders to become subject-matter expert on cross functional data.
• Assist the Sr Financial Analyst with preparation of weekly & monthly reporting packages for C3 Leadership.
• Advance weekly & monthly operational KPI reporting to support company initiatives and provide operational teams insight to make informed decisions.
• Develop reports, presentations and ad hoc analyses, as requested.
• Conduct ad-hoc research and analyses on prospective growth and business refinement opportunities.
• Refine, develop, and own dynamic operational models on C3's Facilities, Retail, Wholesale, and Marketing data.
• Complete market research for existing and new markets as acquisition and expansion opportunities arise.
• Coordinate with the Director of Business Development on establishing long term reporting models for C3's facilities, train end users, and transition ownership.
• Assist with the preparation of executive team meeting materials.
• Provide management with forward looking reports specifying and comparing factors affecting process and profitability of products.
• Assist with implementation & adoption of new Business Intelligence reporting software and work across departments to create new operational reports and dashboards in the system.
• Execute ad-hoc assignments as requested by the Director and/or Senior Leadership.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Accounting, Business or related field required; minimum two years of experience in a Consulting role, Data Analytics role, or similar employment with an analytical focus.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills, prior experience with large scale data modelling and presenting actionable insights from said data models.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and strong computer skills; advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills required to produce and effectively present in depth analysis.
• Proficiency in Business Intelligence systems, report writing, and dashboard creation.
• Ability to work independently with limited direction, be able to manage cross departmental projects, and be an individual contributor.
• Excellent organizational skills, ability to develop and implement operational best practices.
• Good judgment in a fast-moving environment with the ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks.
