Company & Role Overview

Summary

Description

  • Uses the microscope to analyze the trichome heads to schedule the perfect harvest date based on structure and color. Refer to GH lead s for additional opinions. If unable to decide, refer to management to make an executive decision. We will need to have this scheduled at minimum 4 days before harvest to ensure time to have the GH lead s flush the rootzone adequately.
  • Ensure all plants have METRC tags secured to the plant before the scheduled harvest dates to ensure they stay on the plant until they are cut off to be scanned in the GH corridor.
  • On harvest days, supervise the harvest team to achieve optimal speed without sacrificing quality.
  • It is the Harvest Lead 's role to weigh the plants and scan them into METRC as they are cut out of the greenhouse.
  • Loads the racks of harvest ed plants into the dry room, spaced out to promote even drying.
  • Uses fans to move air in the dry room without directly blowing on the plants.
  • Takes AW readings as needed daily to try to ensure we stay within .57-.62 AW in Dry. Log the results accordingly .
  • Ensure that all harvest racks are sanitized before use.
  • Assists in the binning process once plants reach the AW within range.
  • Maintains proper AW using the bins w/ lids to maintain AW within range. Burp and catty-corner lids on the bins as needed.
  • Uses Govee Hygrometers with gateway access to monitor temp and RH% once binned in the dry room. Update the labels as needed to reflect where the hygrometers are placed.
  • Monitors Mekasera temp/humidity in the dry room. Alert management if these numbers are out of spec.
  • If the trim lead is away from work, absorb the duties of ensuring the trim team is on task. Ask management for assistance to delegate work to cultivation techs.
  • Rotates racks in the dry room to make sure they are drying at the same rate. Racks stored against the wall need to be pulled away if you notice the AW higher than the other racks.
  • Reports any imperfections with the plants to management (ex. Mold, Herms, etc.)
  • Reports any issues with METRC to compliance.
  • Keeps the dry room and tools clean and sanitized. No cannabis waste should ever be in the trash.
  • Assists in the cure room as needed to keep the cannabis stored in the bins at optimal RH.
  • Sends emails out to management informing them of upcoming harvest dates.
  • Keeps the harvest log updated in the GH Rabbit Hole excel sheet with harvest dates, strains, # of plants, # of benches, GH zone, dry or fresh frozen, days in flower, and GH conditions.
  • Ensures work area and tools are clean and always sanitized.
  • Other tasks may be assigned as necessitated by business needs
