ROLE SUMMARY
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist regularly with the SS to plan, task, manage, report, investigate, and resolve quarterly directives and objectives
- Assist SS's and other employees as needed to support security directives with Retail, State Production, Cultivation
- Assist SS support leaders unilaterally and support their initiatives
- Assist SS nurture area security norms, policies, and rules; monitor area activities, and proactively plan, formulate, and configure area security dynamics
- Assist SS conducts operational reviews with the RSD monthly
- Participate with SS conducts one to one mentorship/guidance with each SS at least monthly
- Participate in the day-to-day monitoring for physical security, countermeasure, and safety operations for all properties, offices, security services, business partners, vendors, etc.
- Assist SS maintain accountability of administrative reports and review regularly
- Reviews all monitor processes regularly for effectiveness and recommends change as needed
- Ensure your processes compliment regional or national objectives/desired effect
- Communicate effectively with SS
- Reviews complex events and operations to ensure continuity of operations
- Ensure customer service and professionalism are sustained at all times
- Track investigation numbers, investigations, and outcomes with SS
- Brief the SS to provide incident reports, briefings and after-action recommendations to leadership
- Monitor area security and safety program(s) to scale while delivering a world-class employee, customer, and client experience
- Monitor the discipline of security to result in security driven results that align with company and department objectives
- Support the Regional Security Director's vision and intent
- Be a cultural leader that empowers and supports the RSD's safety and security plan
- Be proficient in their respective elements of their scope and duties
- Support, educate, and affirm the annual security posture statement, threat statement, and vision for each calendar year. These statements are issued in January or as indicated by the National Deputy Security Director
- Monitor staff on security protocols (SOPs) and guidelines for each office, including access control standards and policies, visitor management, fire/life safety, event security, incident response, security guard operations, technical security solutions, safety and emergency preparedness training for staff
- Monitor security and threat management programs to support the safety and well-being of employees and physical assets
- Monitors and reports on risk to the SS regularly
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- BA/BS or equivalent experience
- Government/Private sector security management certification preferred
- A minimum of 2+ years of large-scale corporate security experience required; (Law enforcement and military experience included)
- Strong communication skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Ability to prioritize work and complete directives as assigned
- Solid knowledge of risk assessment methodologies
- Basic project management skills with ability to achieve results
- Strong presence as it pertains to relationship-building skills, effective at building trust
- Experience with budget planning and fiscal management
- Experience with conflict resolution and de-escalation
- Experience with complex problem solving and being detail oriented
- Have strong written communication
- Have strong leadership skills
ADDITIONAL MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Must possess a valid driver's license and a clear driving record
- Must successfully complete a comprehensive background record check
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must possess the mental and physical capacities necessary to perform the job duties
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 50 lbs. to a minimum height of 5 feet and able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance
- Must be able to work seated/standing as appropriate at workstations for extended periods of time, maintain body equilibrium while climbing ladders, stairways, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching, and use hands/fingers to hold, grasp, turn, pick, pinch frequently/constantly to complete tasks
- Must have visual acuity with/without job aids to perform activities such as; reading, viewing a computer terminal, visual inspection involving small parts/details. Clarity of vision at 20 ft or more in day and night/dark conditions
- Must be able to speak and communicate verbally at conversation levels with co-workers, vendors, etc. (Moderate noise)
