ROLE SUMMARY:

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee daily operations of the business unit
  • Accomplishes objectives by establishing plans, budgets, and results measurements; allocating resources; reviewing progress; and making mid-course corrections
  • Coordinates efforts by establishing procurement, production, cultivation, and technical services policies and practices; and coordinating actions with corporate staff
  • Coordinate the development of key performance goals for functions and direct reports
  • Provide direct management of key functional managers and executives in the business unit
  • Ensure the overall delivery and quality of the cannabis products for Trulieve consumers
  • Maintain budgets and optimize expenses
  • Oversee key hiring and talent development programs
  • Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards
  • Evaluate and decide upon key investments in equipment, infrastructure, and talent
  • Communicate strategy and results to the unit's employees
  • Report key results to corporate officers
  • Engage with corporate officers in broader organizational strategic planning
  • Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally
  • Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance
  • Ensure staff follows health and safety regulations
  • Provide solutions to issues (e.g. profit decline, employee conflicts, loss of business to competitors)
  • Review and enforce all Trulieve policies and standard operating procedures
  • Provide reports on a regular basis (at least quarterly) and as directed or requested
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; and participating in professional societies.
  • Proactive in understanding and educating changing regulations, laws, and best practices, as they apply to the business and industry Perform other duties as assigned.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, finance, business administration, law, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
  • 5+ years' experience working in manufacturing, agriculture, and/or food service industry
  • 5+ years' proven experience as a General Manager or similar executive role
  • Experience in planning and budgeting
  • Knowledge of business process and functions (finance, HR, procurement, operations etc.)
  • Strong analytical ability

  • Integrity and professional ethics
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint

ADDITIONAL MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday.
  • Must be able to see and hear or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately to ensure requirements of this position can be fully met.
  • Due to the nature of our business, it is advocated that when representing Trulieve that our professionalism meets the needs of the medical patient base that we respectively serve. To uniformly align with the organization, an individual must be able to provide a level of communication that aligns respectively with the diversification of our patients which may exhibit opportunities to assess the situation and apply meaningful service.
  • In addition, must be able to quickly identify and insert additional support where needed to deescalate situations without compromising Trulieve's objective in serving our patient base with excellent customer service. Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 25 pounds to a minimum height of 5 feet and be able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance.
