Duties/Responsibilities:
- Be the face of CBD Kratom at special events, trade shows, and promotional activities.
- Create a positive and inviting atmosphere at our event booths.
- Promote and sell company products to event attendees.
- Responsible for point-of-sale transactions, including cash handling and maintaining a bank.
- Conduct product demonstrations and samples to showcase product effectiveness.
- Actively up-sells products while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns.
- Assist with inventory counts before and after events.
- Coordinate restocking of products and promotional materials as needed.
- Drive a van to transport promotional materials, products, and event booth setup.
- Ensure the safe and efficient transportation of equipment and supplies.
- Maintain a flexible schedule with open availability to accommodate varying event hours.
- Adapt to changing event locations and schedules.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Previous experience in event promotion, marketing, or sales is required.
- Minimum 1 year of Retail Sales Associate experience.
- Minimum 1 year of sales experience.
- Consistent reliability, punctuality, and a history of adhering to schedules.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong operational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong preference for working in a team environment.
- Ability to anticipate problems and provide solutions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
Team Member Eligibility
- Be in good standing (no active written coaching or performance improvement plans on file within six (6) months).
- Successful completion of the Doyen training program.
Supervisory Duties:
- None
Education and Experience:
- High school Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous retail experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking up to 4 hours at a time.
- Ability to frequently lift or move merchandise up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift or move merchandise up to 60 pounds.
