Description

Responsibilities:

  • Payroll & benefits administration.
  • Be the primary contact for employees and managers regarding all human resources inquiries. Build a strong business relationship with stakeholders.
  • Partner with leadership to assist in optimizing people, strategy, structure, process and culture, and facilitate the delivery of HR services as appropriate.
  • Work through people issues for the company. This includes working with leaders to identify concerns in performance and developing appropriate measures to provide team members the opportunity to succeed and to take corrective action where necessary.
  • Optimize recruiting including staff planning, job posting, recruiting, interviewing, interview scheduling, and applicant tracking.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to leadership on HR topics.
  • Manage and administer the team member life cycle, from hiring through exit.
  • Ensure that employee files, documentation, and communications are current and comply with applicable regulations.
  • Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Monitor and submit unemployment claims through the respective State Unemployment accounts.
  • Maintain and update personnel, medical, and I-9 records.
  • Update and regularly audit the HRIS system.
  • Implement the employee engagement, rewards, and recognition program.
  • Foster and maintain our DEI plan.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • At least four (4) years HR experience.
  • SHRM certification is a plus.

  • Knowledge of HR generalist services.
  • Knowledge of DEI.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Working Conditions/Physical Demands:

  • This position works in a high paced office environment.
  • Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods.
  • Must be willing to travel (international a possibility).
  • Must be able to lift up to lift 40lbs.
