CORE JOB DUTIES
- Develop a cohesive national retail strategy & tactical plan, working closely with the VP, Retail Operations and regional retail leadership to develop strategies and standards for our retail vertical
- Build plans for all aspects of national retail operations, ensuring consistent store-level execution and adherence
- Demonstrate an ability to gain alignment with in-region retail leaders and stakeholders, ensuring national retail initiatives have regional buy-in
- Lead a dynamic team of managers spanning various subject areas including national initiatives planning, communications, training, SOP documentation and customer relations.
- Manage a team responsible for our national retail communications, ensuring national initiatives are clearly communicated to the right stakeholders to drive best-in-class execution
- Hold your team to a high standard of reliability, ensuring consistent delivery against timelines and total retail priorities
- Manage to a corporate retail operations budget including quarterly forecasting and reporting in collaboration with finance
- Coach and develop your team of leaders including building of professional development plans and completing quarterly performance reviews
- Provide guidance and influence decision-making processes, resolving conflicts and obstacles that may arise during the project lifecycle.
- Serve as the core liaison between corporate Retail Operations and region Retail Operations, driving trust and efficiency by supporting region ambitions and goals with tactical plans and strategies
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS
- Minimum 7 years of experience in retail operations, preferably in a related industry
- Minimum of 3 years leading and developing a team
- Multi-unit or regional retail leadership experience required. Preferably experienced career growth from a store leader into a regional leader."
- Proven track record of people management
- Strong organization, project management and planning skills
- Demonstrated ability to drive results and adapt to changing business needs in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written, oral and presentation skills
