Retail Buyer - Central Region

What The Job Is All About:

What You'll Do:

• Manage the full buying lifecycle, from product innovation and vendor meetings to cost negotiations, pricing analysis, and promotional calendars

• Build strong vendor and supplier relationships to ensure product consistency, communicate effectively with peers and supervisors, and identify key business opportunities

• Meet stock and profit margin projections, and collaborate with the store ops team to develop localized assortments and sales forecasts that enhance profitability

• Create purchasing strategies aligned with financial goals, manage inventory to exceed sales expectations, and build reports to improve decision-making

• Travel Requirements: 10%

Who You Are:

• 2-3 years in inventory management, buying, merchandising, supply chain, and forecasting, with a focus on assortment optimization

• Hold a bachelor's degree in a relevant field or have equivalent experience

• You bring a positive, energetic attitude to fast-paced environments, excel in interpersonal communication, and confidently negotiate favorable outcomes

• You excel in organization, attention to detail, and efficiency, with strong critical thinking and interpersonal skills, and leverage data analysis and business software to drive informed decisions and streamline operations

• You thrive working independently while making impactful contributions to your team's goals

Even Better If:

• You have advanced expertise in MS Excel and Tableau

• You bring hands on experience in buying, merchandising, supply chain management, and assortment decisions

• You have experience in the cannabis industry
