Summary
TERRITORY SALES MANAGER:
THE TEAM:
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Work with Commercial team to implement a highly effective B2B sales strategy in PA
- Responsible for oversight, execution, and achievement of weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales goals
- Manage day-to-day decisions of the sales team and be the go-to for the sales team to brainstorm and problem solve
- Execute on strategic plan to achieve quarterly sales targets and expand customer base
- Facilitate and manage processes for all B2B sales-related tasks
- Submit sales orders accurately and on time to Senior Director of Commercial Operations for approval and to production facility for fulfillment
- Negotiate terms with purchasers such as price, quality of goods, deadlines, expectations, etc.
- Generate sales revenue through new account acquisition and management of existing accounts
- Identify new B2B business opportunities and build existing relationships with cultivators, product manufacturers, and retailers
- Target, qualify, and pursue prospects in accordance with company's strategy and techniques
- Track sales revenue metrics and creating monthly KPI reports
- Resolve escalated customer complaints regarding sales and service
- Create opportunities through a high volume of contact calls to potential clients
- Collaborate closely with fulfillment and distribution teams to ensure accounts receive exceptional service
- Create and circulate weekly and monthly reports with sales figures and forward-looking goals to executive team
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- At least 5 years of sales experience + 2 years of experience at a management level
- Bachelor's degree in management, supply chain, or related field required
- Financial analysis capabilities
- 2 years proven sales experience in the cannabis industry with existing vendor relationships
- History of setting and driving strategic sales initiatives in a start-up, fast-paced environment
- Experience with distributor management and contract/vendor negotiation
- Highly effective interpersonal skills, demonstrating an exceptional level of EQ in all professional interactions
- Strong negotiation skills, striking a balance between being flexible and driving for results with aggressive timelines*
- Ability to work independently in a highly organized manner with limited direction
- The ability for local travel up to 60%
- Flexible schedule and ability to work some weekends and evenings
- Must pass a background check in accordance with all applicable federal and state laws
