Responsibilities
- Own, manage and audit end-to-end workflow to ensure accurate and timely processing of weekly/bi-weekly payrolls for 500 +/- employees.
- Process employee changes as it relates to compensation, employment status, deductions
- Answer employee and management inquiries paying close attention to detail and tone
- Resolve payroll discrepancies, process adjustments, manual checks with urgency
- Complete VOEs, Unemployment Claims, and U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics requests
- Assist with audits including 401(k), Workers Comp, SOX and internal
- Partner with Wurk to setup/register state and local agency accounts
- Perform year-end responsibilities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree and at least 1-3 years of payroll experience
- Must have experience processing non-exempt, hourly employees, union a plus
- Proven experience and success in a fast-paced, high-growth organization
- Advanced computer skills, including Excel
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent and professional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to interact and communicate with all levels within the organization
- Demonstrated understanding of multi-state wage and labor laws
- Experience using the following products, a plus: Kronos, Wurk, DailyPay

- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential material
- Must pass any and all required background checks
- Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry
