IN A NUTSHELL...
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Managing the daily operations of the facility, including leading and guiding Facilities operations staff.
- Managing preventive maintenance programs, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing, storm water drainage systems, wastewater systems.
- Managing sanitation and safety practices to ensure that work conditions are safe and conducive to efficient operations.
- With the Senior Director of Operations, develop the desired operational levels for the Facility;
- Work with Director of Engineering and other facility leads (Cultivation, Extraction and Production) to identify priority operational investments for each facility to maintain operations at desired operational levels.
- Develop an Annual Growth and Maintenance Capex Plan and the Annual Repairs and Maintenance Plan for the Facility. The plan should be based on the Facilities Condition Assessment (FCA) and Facility Emergency Operations Plan.
- Report all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to the Senior Director of Operations and Director of Construction/Facilities, including internal and external labor utilization, work ticket response and closeout times, planned to actual budget, etc.
- Manage all service agreements and contracts in a centralized database with the Real Estate and Facilities Team.
- Review operating costs and expenses to identify cost savings, efficiencies, and economies of scale to reduce overall spend.
- Provide overall leadership for Facilities Management teams in delivering the approved Annual Growth and Maintenance Capex and Repairs and Maintenance Plans.
- Implement the uniform application of the selected Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)including: i) tagging and tracking of all equipment assets in accordance with the Equipment Management SOP, ii) use of Work Tickets showing all internal and external labor and materials costs, and iii) identification of high (maintenance) cost equipment.
- Ensuring collaboration with Enterprise Safety function and SOPs and all facility functions during operations and construction.
- In coordination with the Safety Manager, design and implement enhanced safety and oversight metrics for the Facilities team.
- Assist with ongoing growth and maintenance capex investments including, but not limited to, development of Design and Construction Contracts/Work Authorizations, coordination of field work, etc.
- Assist with the coordination of retail maintenance and operations activities as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS YOU'LL BRING
- Bachelor's degree in HVAC, Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Construction Engineering or Business required (10 years additional relevant work experience can be substituted for this requirement)
- 7-10 years of demonstrated progressive work-related experience in Facility Management and Administration
- Minimum of 5 years working with HVAC or Electrical Systems
- Previous experience with CMMS systems
- Age 21 or over
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Government-Issued Photo ID
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and have consistent attention to detail.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery.
- Must be able to bend, lift and stoop continuously.
- Must lift 50 lbs. assisted and 75 lbs.
