Maintenance Technician

Your role in caring for our plants:

  • Responsible for building and grounds maintenance
  • Ensure that the facility is clean, organized, and maintained according to company policy and procedures.
  • Verify proper operation of facilities systems and equipment by completing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs by following instruction and utilizing operations manuals
  • Assist General Manager with ensuring contract services work meets specified results to minimize future operational problems; includes inspecting completed work and reporting failure to meet contract specifications
  • Confirm security and emergency preparedness procedures are implemented properly
  • Conduct and document regular facilities inspections
  • Recommend both proactive and reactive maintenance, mechanical, electrical, and facility design modifications
  • Effectively plan and schedule daily/weekly preventive maintenance activities while continually developing long term plans
  • Communicate workplace safety precautions to employees
  • Perform other duties such as taking out municipal trash/recycling
  • Periodically verify fire extinguishers are within approved dates and replace units when needed
  • Contribute to the overall success of the facilities by performing other essential duties as assigned

Qualifications we ask you to have:

  • For legal reasons, all employees need to be at least 21 years of age.
  • You will be asked to pass a Federal and State criminal history background check.
  • We ask that you have at least a high school diploma/GED.
  • We ask that you have a minimum of 2 year's maintenance experience in a professional/management role.
  • An OSHA certification is preferred.
  • We ask that you have experience handling vendors, contractors, and installations; experience with equipment repair and installations.
  • Experience with fire extinguisher training a plus.

  • Desire and ability to work as a member of a team.
  • Compliance with all HR policies including confidentiality and non-disclosure.
  • Maintain open communication with the management team and other co-workers.
  • Work closely with other grow team members and the Cultivation Director on a daily basis.
  • Strong work ethics - be accountable and proactive.
  • Ability to work at a fast pace in a high production environment!
  • Strong experience with inspection, predictive and preventive maintenance, planning, execution, root cause failure analysis and improvements.
