What You'll Do:

  • Prepare and manage all federal, state, and local tax filings, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual U.S. GAAP income tax provisions, including analysis and documentation related to Uncertain Tax Positions.
  • Lead the preparation of federal, state, and local income tax returns, estimated tax payments, extensions, and international components (Forms 5471, etc.).
  • Support federal, state, and local tax audits.
  • Monitor and respond to new tax and financial reporting developments.
  • Provide support on tax matters for mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and more.
  • Collaborate with external tax consultants and auditors to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Develop and implement tax strategies while maintaining a continuous improvement mindset.

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • 5-8 years of experience in public accounting or a corporate tax function, with knowledge of U.S. tax provisions and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
  • Expertise in federal, multi-state, and international corporate tax processes, including audits and compliance reporting.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills and project management experience.
  • Excellent research and documentation abilities to tackle complex tax issues.
  • Adaptability to changing priorities and a proven ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy.
  • A professional demeanor with a drive for challenge and change.
  • Communication skills that allow you to clearly explain technical tax issues to colleagues at all levels.
  • Willingness to actively engage in day-to-day tax operations.
