RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responds to all agent and vendor questions, concerns, or suggestions and takes action when necessary to resolve conflicts and ensures efficient operations.
  • Plans, coordinates, and oversees equipment installation and maintenance by ensuring the proper tasks are executed, pursuant to approved guidelines and regulations, and the facility's environmental conditions support the production of superior product
  • Create a capital expenditure budget and be able to communicate projected budget requirements to appropriate leadership staff
  • Oversee and supervise a team responsible for maintenance & cleanliness of facility to ensure a fully operational, uncontaminated environment. Quality & Financial
  • Negotiate with 3rd party vendors in partnership with the Director of Procurement for necessary products and services
  • Maintain adequate parts inventory and order items as necessary while controlling costs
  • Contract out landscaping, snow removal, and certain other services as necessary
  • Coordinate system repairs, monitor system performance, and draft a routine maintenance & audit schedule
  • Execute responsibilities within budget and find new ways to continue to create cost
  • Holds sub-contractors accountable for quality & timely Staffing & Training
  • Works with the management team to generate monthly work schedules and remains proactively aware of staffing needs based on anticipated production levels.

  • Oversees all facility related tasks and processes, ensures proper documentation & maintains accurate records of all facility & safety related activities
  • Verifies the proper documentation has been completed with accurate information for activities
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and security protocols
  • Maintains accurate records and documentation of all production activities including, Inventory Control System (ICS) records of incoming and outgoing deliveries, returns, and destruction of unusable product in accordance with Division regulations; employee records; and standards, policies, and procedures set by the Company.

SKILLS

ABILITIES

  • Strong understanding of warehouse control systems.
  • Able to read and understand complex electrical, mechanical, and automation systems.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills Impeccable verbal and written communication skills.
  • Prior project management experience.
  • Strong Negotiation skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferably in Civil Engineering or related discipline or equivalent Military
  • 3+ years' experience in a facilities management role
  • Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and large-scale HVAC systems including Chillers
  • Previous experience using Building (preferred)

WORKING

CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Ability to stand, sit, kneel for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Use of tools and equipment to maintain and repair equipment.
  • Occasionally work on ladders, or in tight spaces to inspect or troubleshoot.
