Responsibilities:
- Increase revenue for all lines of services within the assigned region or service line.
- Monitor warehouse inventory to ensure optimal product movement and reduce stagnant stock.
- Collaborate with G/Ps to boost product sell-through via strategic sales, field marketing, and promotional giveaways.
- Provide real-time sales insights to G/Ps, advising on high-demand products to scale warehouse inventory.
- Work with brands to execute field marketing initiatives, including staff sampling, swag distribution, and promotional events.
- Expand market share by focusing on sales activities with existing and prospective clients.
- Respond to quote requests in adherence to company procedures.
- Reach out to assigned leads in a timely manner.
- Use the National Secure Transport Sales process, CRM, and File Storage Systems to update and manage the sales pipeline.
- Develop new business from existing client expansion efforts, generated leads, referrals, or personal knowledge base.
- Manage the full cycle of new client acquisition to onboarding and launch, ensuring sufficient and relevant information for each new client agreement is passed to the Operations and Accounting teams.
- Collaborate with the Operations team to ensure successful onboarding of new clients.
- Coordinate with the Operations teams to maintain and strengthen relationships with existing company clients by providing outstanding customer service and support.
- Work on monthly KPIs to ensure monthly and annual sales targets are achieved.
- Follow up with assigned leads in a timely manner (within 24 hours of receiving).
- Attend in person meetings in New Jersey where appropriate.
- Travel to conferences or in-person meetings as requested by management.
- Sign into and be present in Roam, our cloud Headquarters software, between 8 am and 5 pm daily, Monday to Friday.
Physical Requirements
Experience
Knowledge & Experience:
- Minimum three years of demonstrable sales success within a B2B service sector, preferably in the cannabis industry
- Ability to clearly and confidently communicate via telephone and email.
- Knowledge and experience with CRMs, preferably Salesforce.
- Presentable and confident in face-to-face and video meetings.
- General higher education or sales training and qualifications.
- Ability to build rapport quickly over the phone, in face-to-face, or in video meetings.
- Strong networking skills.
- Knowledge of the New Jersey cannabis market.
- Motivated self-starter.
