Summary
**Job Summary:**
The Chocolatier is responsible for executing various chocolate production processes, ensuring high-quality products while maintaining efficiency and adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs). This role involves measuring, melting, tempering, and pouring chocolate, maintaining equipment, record-keeping, and packaging final products. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, a passion for chocolate craftsmanship, and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities:**
**Chocolate Production:** Measure, melt, temper, and pour chocolate according to established recipes and SOPs.
**Quality Control:** Ensure all chocolate products meet quality standards, including texture, consistency, and taste.
**Equipment Maintenance:** Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of chocolate-making equipment to ensure optimal functionality and safety.
**Record Keeping:** Maintain accurate logs of production processes, ingredient usage, and equipment performance.
**SOP Compliance:** Follow all standard operating procedures to ensure consistency, quality, and food safety compliance.
**Packaging \u0026 Storage:** Properly package finished chocolate products and store work-in-progress materials according to guidelines.
**Inventory Management:** Monitor ingredient levels and report any shortages to ensure continuous production..
**Workplace Safety:** Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including proper handling of food-grade materials and personal protective equipment (PPE). Qualifications \u0026 Skills:**
High school diploma or equivalent.
Prior experience in chocolate production, pastry arts, or confectionery manufacturing is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
Ability to follow recipes, instructions, and food safety guidelines precisely.
Mechanical aptitude for operating and maintaining chocolate-making equipment. Basic record-keeping and organizational skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented production environment.
Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
