They are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented **Inventory Specialist** to join their team and support the efficient and accurate management of their cannabis inventory.

**Position Overview:**
As an Inventory Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining an accurate inventory of raw materials, finished products, and supplies within the cannabis processing facility. This role is essential to ensure that production lines run smoothly and that they comply with regulatory standards. You will work closely with production, procurement, and quality control teams to manage inventory levels, track product movement, and ensure timely stock replenishment.

**Key Responsibilities:**
* **Inventory Management:** Monitor and track the flow of inventory from receiving to production to shipping. Maintain accurate records of all materials, supplies, and finished products.
* **Stock Audits:** Conduct regular physical inventory counts, cycle counts, and reconciliation processes to ensure inventory accuracy. Investigate and resolve discrepancies in inventory levels.
* **Data Entry \u0026 Reporting:** Input and maintain detailed records of inventory transactions into inventory management systems. Generate daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports for management.
* **Order Management:** Coordinate with procurement and production teams to ensure adequate stock levels of raw materials and packaging. Assist with placing orders for restocking as needed.
* **Compliance \u0026 Documentation:** Ensure all inventory procedures comply with relevant state and federal cannabis regulations, including tracking and documentation of all products for traceability.
* **Quality Control Support:** Work with quality control teams to inspect incoming materials and finished products, ensuring that they meet company standards and regulatory requirements.
* **Process Improvement:** Identify and implement process improvements to streamline inventory tracking, reduce waste, and enhance operational efficiency.
* **Safety \u0026 Cleanliness:** Maintain a safe and organized workspace in compliance with company policies and OSHA guidelines. Properly handle and store materials in accordance with safety protocols.

**Qualifications:**
* **Education \u0026 Experience:**
* High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field preferred.
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory management, preferably within a manufacturing, processing, or cannabis industry environment.
* **Skills \u0026 Abilities:**
* Strong knowledge of inventory management software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or similar systems).
* Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve discrepancies and inventory issues.
* Familiarity with cannabis industry regulations and compliance requirements is a plus.
* Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
* **Physical Requirements:**
* Ability to lift and move products up to 50 lbs.
* Ability to stand or sit for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
* Willingness to work in a temperature-controlled, production facility environment.

**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Certification in inventory management (e.g., CPIM, CLTD) is a plus.
* Previous experience in the cannabis industry or regulated industries with stringent compliance requirements.
