**THE POSITION**

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated **Mill Operator** to join the manufacturing team. This role is essential to ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of milling equipment, directly contributing to the production of high-quality materials that meet rigorous quality and safety standards. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

* Operate and monitor milling equipment to ensure optimal performance and product consistency

* Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance, troubleshooting minor mechanical issues

* Accurately record production metrics such as output, downtime, and quality control data

* Collaborate with the quality assurance team to meet compliance and safety standards

* Support onboarding and training efforts for new machine operators

* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce operational waste

**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**

* High school diploma or equivalent

* 2+ years of experience operating milling equipment in a manufacturing environment

* Strong mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills

* Solid understanding of safety standards and practices in a manufacturing setting

**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**

* Experience with CNC milling equipment and advanced milling techniques

* Familiarity with quality control standards and documentation

* Certification in machine operation or a related technical field

**TECHNICAL SKILLS \u0026 TOOLS**

* Forklift operation/certification required

* Proficiency in milling machine operations and basic equipment maintenance

* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

* Experience with computer-based manufacturing systems and inventory management
