Summary
Position Overview:
Major Areas of Responsibility include:
- Winning and maintaining general accounts
- Manage strategic sales efforts throughout market to achieve sales goals
- Develop pipeline to identify potential new customers
- Manage key accounts, including Multi-State Operator (MSO) accounts
- Forecasting sales and revenue for their market/territory
- Negotiating deals and closing sale
- Executes Annual Business Plans (ABPs) and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) for designated accounts that you are assigned
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with vendors and customers to ensure future sales both in-person and virtually
- Partner with business leaders and marketing teams to develop strategies to support sales goals.
- Facilitate processes for local B2B sales-related tasks
- Conduct monthly Pricing Analysis reports
- Submit sales orders accurately and on-time for approval and to the appropriate parties for fulfillment
- Participate in and attend industry events, including trade shows, conferences, and in-store events to interact with potential and existing customers
- Execute and record, in CRM, Designated Activities assigned by Wholesale Leadership
Minimum Qualifications (Skills, Knowledge & Abilities):
- All applicants must be at least 21 years of age
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred
- 3+ years sales experience. Experience in cannabis or wholesale flower preferred
- Prior experience with sales deals and negotiations
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships
- Highly motivated with proven experience meeting and exceeding goals
- Experience with distributor management and contract/vendor negotiation
- Knowledge of marketing strategies and CRM (customer relationship management)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in a highly organized manner with limited direction while supporting a large market/territory with multiple key accounts
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Experience using computers for a variety of tasks
- Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment and managing competing priorities
