### **Position Summary**
The **Production Agent – Packaging Technician** is responsible for the precise and efficient packaging of cannabis products under the supervision of the Packaging Technician Lead. Responsibilities include weighing, packaging, labeling, and stickering concentrates, flower, and edibles while adhering to strict compliance and quality standards. Attention to detail and teamwork in a regulated environment are key.

### **Job Responsibilities**
**Daily Production Tasks**
* Weigh, package, label, and sticker various cannabis products (flower, concentrates, edibles)
* Maintain accuracy and quality assurance during the packaging process
* Follow SOPs and product recipes precisely
* Operate filling, packaging, and labeling equipment properly
* Center and seal product packaging with correct branding and placement
* Conduct visual inspections post-packaging
* Verify final product count and assist in bulk packaging and transfers
**Pre-Production \u0026 Setup**
* Review work orders, validate ingredient lists, and log traceability data
* Replenish packaging inventory as needed before starting production
* Sanitize work surfaces and ensure all food safety protocols are followed
* Ensure availability and cleanliness of gloves, hairnets, sanitizing buckets, and tools
* Sweep and mop floors before and after shifts
**Production Support**
* Pre-stage and measure ingredients accurately
* Dissolve residual concentrates in solvent and return glassware to Extraction Lab
* Log weights of bulk products and update whiteboards
* Prevent batch cross-contamination through proper control measures
* Clean jars, lids, and packaging materials as needed
* Monitor inventory of supplies and notify supervisors of shortages
**Teamwork \u0026 Flexibility**
* Participate in team training and foster a positive, collaborative environment
* Take on various production facility tasks as needed (maintenance, light admin, deliveries)
* Support special functions outside of normal hours on occasion
* Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

### **Knowledge, Skills \u0026 Qualifications**
* 2+ years of experience in food production (baking, confectionery, chocolate preferred)
* Skilled in operating food production equipment (mixers, molds, packagers, etc.)
* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
* Familiarity with inventory tracking systems
* Ability to lift 20–40 lbs frequently and perform physical tasks (bending, standing, reaching)
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Safety-conscious with good judgment and discretion
* Team-oriented, reliable, and self-motivated
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively
* Must pass a criminal background check
