Responsibilities
- Lead month-end close and financial reporting processes for assigned facilit ies in accordance with GAAP , Finance policies , and SOPs.
- Lead inventory reporting and management and ensure compliance with inventory c ontrols and policy for assigned facilities .
- Lead and prepare annual budget and forecasts for assigned facilities .
- Lead capital process and fixed asset reporting and controls for assigned facilities .
- Lead / participate in leadership meetings and provide financial visibility to business partners for decision making for assigned facilities .
- Review site performance and KPI data with leadership ; understand trends and identify drivers and root causes.
- Lead / participate in cost savings and continuous improvement initiatives for assigned facilities .
- Partner with HQ ERP/Process Leads to coordinate system/process implementation and compliance for assigned facilities .
- Ensure compliance to applicable SO X controls, policies, and procedures , and in addition to managing audit requirements and requests.
- Responsible to hire , train , lead , and develop site level finance resources .
- Perform/oversee ad hoc analyses, special projects, and other duties as assigned .
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance and 8+ years of related experience; CPA and/or MBA preferred.
- 2+ years as a plant controller in a manufacturing environment including cost accounting experience.
- Knowledge of US GAAP accounting principles and internal control procedures.
- Highly motivated, self-directed, innovative and able to work independently or among teams with keen judgement, common sense and resourcefulness.
- Adapts and thrives in a demanding, start-up, fast-paced environment.
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, non-verbal, written), with the ability to build relationships at all levels, both internally and externally.
- Possesses a high level of critical thinking and attention to detail and accuracy.
- Operates with a high level of professionalism and integrity, including dealing with confidential information.
