About the Role (job title and summary) :
How you'll make a difference (required duties and responsibilities) :
- Route Execution & Delivery Compliance: Execute scheduled delivery routes to dispensaries, ensuring timely and compliant deliveries. Verify manifests and obtain all necessary delivery confirmations in accordance with applicable regulations.
- Product Handling & Verification: Load and unload products carefully, ensuring proper handling and secure transportation. Cross-check inventory against manifests to ensure accuracy and prevent discrepancies.
- Vehicle Inspection & Maintenance Support: Conduct daily pre- and post-trip inspections of delivery vehicles to ensure all safety features, equipment, and required documentation are in order. Report any vehicle issues promptly and coordinate maintenance as necessary.
- Communication & Coordination: Maintain clear and professional communication with dispatchers, delivery partners, and dispensary staff throughout the route to ensure smooth operations.
- Documentation & Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, route activities, and any issues encountered, in accordance with company policy and state compliance requirements.
- Regulatory Adherence: Follow all company SOPs and state guidelines regarding the transportation of medical marijuana products, including chain-of-custody protocols and security procedures during transit.
- Safe Driving Practices: Adhere to defensive driving techniques at all times. Exercise caution in parking lots, loading zones, and other high-foot-traffic areas to prevent injury to individuals and damage to property.
- Loading Zone Awareness: Approach all delivery locations with heightened awareness. Always check surroundings, blind spots, and use a spotter if needed when maneuvering parking areas.
- Incident Prevention & Immediate Reporting: Remain vigilant to avoid vehicle-related incidents. Any collisions, near misses, or safety concerns must be reported immediately to management and documented according to company protocol.
- Customer Service: Represent the company professionally in all customer interactions, providing a positive experience for dispensary partners and vendors
Skills to be Successful (minimum qualifications) :
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent - required
- Minimum of 3 years of professional driving, logistics, or delivery experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage time effectively.
- Demonstrated reliability, honesty, and confidentiality.
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary focus and attention to detail.
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with colleagues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
- Commitment to safety and situational awareness, with a demonstrated ability to operate vehicles responsibly in dynamic environments.

- Must possess a valid Pennsylvania State Driver's License, CDL preferred

Schedules:
- Work hours will vary based on delivery schedules and business needs. Flexibility is required, including availability for weekend and evening shifts. Occasional changes can be expected to accommodate route demands and business needs
