**Job Title:** Full Time Hemp Extraction Technician

**Job Summary:** The Extraction Technician is responsible for supporting the extraction process by preparing frozen biomass, recording data, assisting with extractions, and maintaining equipment. This role is essential to our production team, ensuring that our high-quality standards are consistently met. Prior experience in extraction is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated and hardworking individuals.

**Responsibilities:**

Biomass Preparation: Weigh and record the weights of frozen biomass, and enter the data into our software system.

Extraction Assistance: Load extraction columns with biomass and assist in the extraction process with a team of extractors on our larger scale system.

Small Scale Extraction: Learn and perform extractions on our smaller scale automated extraction system.

Equipment Cleaning: Clean filtration socks and extraction containers after extraction processes.

Maintenance: Assist with maintenance and cleaning of extraction equipment, ensuring all machinery is in optimal working condition.

Post Processing Preparation: Prepare extracts for the post processing team.

Ability to Crosstrain: Being able to cross train on various roles including post processing to assist the team if bottlenecks arise.

**Requirements:**

Must be 21 years of age or older.

Able to work Monday through Friday, 8am-4:30pm.

Reliable transportation and a willingness to commute within a reasonable distance.

Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods. Able to stand, climb, squat, bend, twist, and stand for extended periods.

Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Mechanically inclined is a plus
