JOB SUMMARY

CORE JOB DUTIES

  • Oversee design projects from concept through delivery across print and digital channels.
  • Partner with Associate Design Director to execute team strategy and design direction.
  • Lead conceptual development and elevate creative quality across campaigns.
  • Review and provide formal feedback on Junior and Mid-Level Designer work.
  • Serve as final quality checkpoint before stakeholder or vendor review.
  • Mentor designers and support team development.
  • Manage high-priority and complex initiatives, including fast-turn projects.
  • Drive process improvement and creative innovation across the team.
  • Serve as creative problem-solver for complex or high-visibility initiatives.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS

  • 6+ years professional design experience (in-house or agency).
  • Portfolio demonstrating elevated conceptual thinking and leadership across campaigns.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite with ability to set best practices and guide others.
  • Deep multi-channel expertise including complex, high-visibility initiatives.
  • Ability to elevate and evolve visual systems while maintaining brand integrity.
  • Advanced production knowledge; reviews and approves vendor-ready files.
  • After Effects required; able to create motion assets and guide animation direction.
  • Art Direction experience required; demonstrated experience supporting creative direction and developing conceptual ideas.
  • Experience with color correction and retouching to ensure high-quality, production-ready visuals.
  • Ability to balance leadership, quality control, and complex project management.
  • High-level communication skills; mentors others and presents to senior stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability; formally mentors and elevates team output.
  • Passion for the cannabis industry and commitment to creative excellence.
