Position Overview:
Major Areas of Responsibility include:
- Prep ingredients and production of edible products including chocolate, gummy drops and lozenges
- Follow daily production list to maintain stock of finished goods
- Comply with rules and state regulations for food safety and edible production
- Prepare samples for testing
- Package and label edible products
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Minimum Qualifications (Skills, Knowledge & Abilities):
- All applicants must be at least 21 years of age
- A High School diploma or GED is required. Formal education in food production and/or culinary arts is preferred
- Minimum of two years of kitchen/food service experience
- ServeSafe Certification is preferred
- Ability to organize and prioritize work
- Strong interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication
- Strong attention to detail, time management and problem-solving skills.
Additional Abilities Required:
- The job requires physical activity, including prolonged standing, repetitive bending, climbing, and lifting or moving up to 40 pounds (or more with a coworker).
- Good visual acuity, hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, and ability to perform repetitive motions with accuracy is required.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
