Position Overview:

Major Areas of Responsibility include:

Prep ingredients and production of edible products including chocolate, gummy drops and lozenges
Follow daily production list to maintain stock of finished goods
Comply with rules and state regulations for food safety and edible production
Prepare samples for testing
Package and label edible products
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Minimum Qualifications (Skills, Knowledge & Abilities):

All applicants must be at least 21 years of age
A High School diploma or GED is required. Formal education in food production and/or culinary arts is preferred
Minimum of two years of kitchen/food service experience
ServeSafe Certification is preferred
Ability to organize and prioritize work
Strong interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication
Strong attention to detail, time management and problem-solving skills.

Additional Abilities Required:

The job requires physical activity, including prolonged standing, repetitive bending, climbing, and lifting or moving up to 40 pounds (or more with a coworker).
Good visual acuity, hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, and ability to perform repetitive motions with accuracy is required.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
