Cannabis Production Associate

What You'll Do

  • Preparing cannabis-infused food and beverage products according to approved recipes, formulations, and production schedules.
  • Accurately measuring, weighing, mixing, and portioning ingredients to ensure product consistency and dosage accuracy.
  • Operating commercial kitchen and food production equipment, including mixers, depositors, ovens, packaging equipment, and scaling systems.
  • Following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), food safety standards, sanitation protocols, and cannabis regulatory requirements.
  • Staging ingredients, preparing batches, and verifying inventory prior to production runs.
  • Monitoring production processes to ensure quality, appearance, texture, flavor, and consistency standards are achieved.
  • Packaging, labeling, and preparing finished products in compliance with state regulations and company specifications.
  • Performing routine cleaning, sanitation, and basic maintenance of equipment, utensils, and workstations.
  • Completing production logs, batch records, and quality documentation accurately and on time.
  • Collaborating with production, quality, and kitchen teams to support operational efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and safety-focused workspace.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Open availability, including evenings and weekends.
  • Ability to work shifts starting as early as 8:00 AM.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
  • Ability to follow recipes, SOPs, and production instructions consistently.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in commercial kitchens, bakeries, confectionery production, food manufacturing, or culinary operations.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and quality standards.
  • Experience operating food production or commercial kitchen equipment.
  • Cannabis industry experience is a plus, but not required.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work in varying production and kitchen environments and temperatures.
