Benefits Administrator
Where you'll be planted:
To be blunt, this role is about:
- Administering all aspects of the leave of absence program, including but not limited to FMLA, ADA, state leave laws, and company-specific policies.
- Partnering with HR to assist employees seeking information and guidance on leave of absence policies, procedures, and benefits.
- Reviewing and processing leave of absence requests, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
- Coordinating communication between employees, managers, HR, and external vendors throughout the leave process to ensure a smooth transition and timely return to work.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to leave of absence cases, including tracking leave balances and ensuring proper documentation is collected and maintained.
- Collaborating with Payroll and Finance to ensure accurate and timely processing of leave-related information and payments.
- Conducting periodic audits and assessments of the leave of absence program to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with company standards.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in benefits administration, with a focus on leave of absence management. Will be considered an expert within the discipline/functional area.
- In-depth knowledge of FMLA, ADA, and other relevant federal and state leave laws and regulations.
- Strong understanding of HRIS systems and proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
