CORE JOB DUTIES

Agent Support and Management:

  • Responsible for directing the cultivation and processing departments, schedules, cultivation processes/techniques, propagating new strains, inventory accuracy, and vendor relations.
  • Serves as a role-model and resource for staff concerning products and services, policies and procedures, industry news, and changes in regulations.
  • Responds to all agent questions, concerns, or suggestions and takes action when necessary to resolve conflicts.
  • Responsible for delegating tasks to department managers in order to maintain a compliant and clean cultivation facility.
  • Coordinates with the site leadership team to ensure accurate information is communicated to the cultivation and processing teams.

Cultivation Operation Management:

  • Oversees all cultivation and processing tasks and processes, ensures proper documentation of all applicable activities in accordance with the commonwealth and standards set by Cresco Labs
  • Plans, coordinates, and oversees the transition of product development by ensuring the proper tasks are executed and the environmental conditions support the cultivation and processing of superior product quality.
  • Oversees supply stock, orders, and deliveries to ensure efficient levels of all cultivation inputs and supplies.
  • Responsible for measuring and mixing nutrient and plant applications and applying these mixtures according to Cresco Labs policy.
  • Ensure plant health by pruning, toping, trimming, analyzing plant health according to Cresco Labs policy, as well as any other tasks required.
  • Maintain rotation of strains through garden to ensure variety and quantity for RMD locations.
  • Direct environmental programs, such as air or water compliance, aboveground storage tanks, spill prevention or control, hazardous waste or materials management, solid waste recycling, indoor air quality, integrated pest management, enable employee training, and disaster preparedness.

Reports and Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate records of all cultivation activities including employee records, inventory records, crop application records, materials receipt, returns, etc. in accordance with the commonwealth and standards set by Cresco Labs.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS

  • Bachelor's degree in plant biology, physiology, biological sciences, or agricultural sciences preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of managing a large-scale cultivation operation (preferably cannabis related) that has a clean history of compliance.
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience as a Cultivation Leader
  • OSHA certified in Safety Training-preferred.
  • Demonstrated personnel management experience.
  • Demonstrated experience managing operations.
  • Excellent multi-tasking and organizational skills
  • Agricultural manufacturing experience required.
  • Advanced knowledge of plant cultivation and cultivation facility operations
  • Experience in a position requiring critical-thinking, problem-solving, planning and assessment.
  • Computer literacy in word processing, point-of-sale systems, and data base management
  • Knowledge of medical cannabis policy and law
  • Thorough understanding of state and local medical cannabis laws and how they apply to the operations of Cresco Labs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to provide clear direction, to manage and track progress, and communicate outcomes.
  • Effective time-management and ability to multitask.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment.
  • Proficiency in windows-based software and point of sale applications.
  • Ability to stand, sit, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs. for extended periods of time.
