Where you'll be planted

To be blunt, this role will be about:

Supervise and coordinate security personnel to ensure effective coverage and response.
Recruit, train, and supervise security guards.
Implement security policies, procedures, and protocols to safeguard the facility and its assets.
Conduct regular patrols and inspections to identify security vulnerabilities and address potential risks.
Monitor security systems, including CCTV cameras, access control, and alarm systems.
Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms as needed 24/7.
Collaborate with other departments to address security concerns and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
Train security staff on security protocols, emergency procedures, and company policies.
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to security activities, incidents, and training.
Conduct investigations into security breaches, thefts, and other incidents, and prepare detailed reports as needed.
Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging security technologies, and regulatory changes related to the cannabis industry.
Interior and Exterior perimeter patrols
Complete PWI's as needed.
Schedule inspections for alarms, cameras, and fire system for DOH regulations.
Attend meetings with other managers to determine operational needs.
Analyze data to form proposals for improvements.

Proven experience in security management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Sound judgment and decision-making abilities, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
Experience in reporting and emergency response planning
Knowledge of security systems, procedures, and protocols, including CCTV surveillance, access control, and emergency response.
Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards governing security.
Solid understanding of budgeting and statistical data analysis.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Committed and reliable.
Meet state specific age requirements.
Must be and remain compliant with all company regulations.
High School Diploma/GED Required
