Where you'll be planted
To be blunt, this role will be about:
- Supervise and coordinate security personnel to ensure effective coverage and response.
- Recruit, train, and supervise security guards.
- Implement security policies, procedures, and protocols to safeguard the facility and its assets.
- Conduct regular patrols and inspections to identify security vulnerabilities and address potential risks.
- Monitor security systems, including CCTV cameras, access control, and alarm systems.
- Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms as needed 24/7.
- Collaborate with other departments to address security concerns and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Train security staff on security protocols, emergency procedures, and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to security activities, incidents, and training.
- Conduct investigations into security breaches, thefts, and other incidents, and prepare detailed reports as needed.
- Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging security technologies, and regulatory changes related to the cannabis industry.
- Interior and Exterior perimeter patrols
- Complete PWI's as needed.
- Schedule inspections for alarms, cameras, and fire system for DOH regulations.
- Attend meetings with other managers to determine operational needs.
- Analyze data to form proposals for improvements.

- Proven experience in security management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Sound judgment and decision-making abilities, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Experience in reporting and emergency response planning
- Knowledge of security systems, procedures, and protocols, including CCTV surveillance, access control, and emergency response.
- Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards governing security.
- Solid understanding of budgeting and statistical data analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Committed and reliable.
- Meet state specific age requirements.
- Must be and remain compliant with all company regulations.
- High School Diploma/GED Required
