Where you'll be planted

To be blunt, this role will be about:

  • Supervise and coordinate security personnel to ensure effective coverage and response.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise security guards.
  • Implement security policies, procedures, and protocols to safeguard the facility and its assets.
  • Conduct regular patrols and inspections to identify security vulnerabilities and address potential risks.
  • Monitor security systems, including CCTV cameras, access control, and alarm systems.
  • Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms as needed 24/7.
  • Collaborate with other departments to address security concerns and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Train security staff on security protocols, emergency procedures, and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to security activities, incidents, and training.
  • Conduct investigations into security breaches, thefts, and other incidents, and prepare detailed reports as needed.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging security technologies, and regulatory changes related to the cannabis industry.
  • Interior and Exterior perimeter patrols
  • Complete PWI's as needed.
  • Schedule inspections for alarms, cameras, and fire system for DOH regulations.
  • Attend meetings with other managers to determine operational needs.
  • Analyze data to form proposals for improvements.

  • Proven experience in security management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Sound judgment and decision-making abilities, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Experience in reporting and emergency response planning
  • Knowledge of security systems, procedures, and protocols, including CCTV surveillance, access control, and emergency response.
  • Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards governing security.
  • Solid understanding of budgeting and statistical data analysis.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Committed and reliable.
  • Meet state specific age requirements.
  • Must be and remain compliant with all company regulations.
  • High School Diploma/GED Required
