Where you'll be planted:

To be blunt... Year 1 is going to be about:

  • Overseeing the creation and maintenance of forward looking, 13 month demand forecast at the SKU/Channel level in collaboration with key commercial stakeholders & insights team
  • Providing leadership for and host the monthly S&OP process and meetings; provide support and context for the consensus demand plan
  • Working with Supply Chain peers to improve demand signal piping into Inventory Roll model, automate where possible
  • Working with Supply Chain and IT to create end to end inventory and sales visibility for both wholesale, grow, and retail sales and inventory, in one dataset
  • Assisting and leading the creation tools to assist fine tuning forecast models in short-range tactical windows to maximize business opportunity
  • Directing Management of Supply Chain Demand & Business Planner (one direct report)
  • Leading the tracking and reporting on forecast accuracy, forecast stability, demand consumption
  • Liaising and coordinate between all business functions: production, cultivation, warehousing, sales, retail marketing, finance, accounting, procurement
  • Maintaining and analyze demand trend reporting and report out to management
  • Working with SC peers in other states to create consistencies and sustainability in reporting
  • Completing weekly demand planning tasks efficiently, effectively, and accurately
  • Utilizing planning experience, strong leadership skills and a highly motivated character to establish efficient SOP's.
  • Collaborating as needed to drive optimal productivity; foster an environment in which diverse backgrounds are respected and valued.
  • Enhancing and maintain positive and productive communications with our sales operations.

  • Bachelor's degree in business, management, or related discipline or equivalent education and experience.
  • 5+ years of supply chain and/or planning experience, S&OP experience
  • Cannabis, CPG preferred industry experience
  • Proven ability to motivate teams and manage conflict; ability to provide feedback and develop team.
  • Advanced Excel skills MANDATORY
  • V/Xlookup, Pivot Tables, analysis of large datasets, data visualization in Excel, Power Query
  • Power BI or other advanced reporting exposure/experience a plus
  • High comfort level with large datasets, ability to analyze and extract trends and other analytics from ambiguous or incomplete data
  • Strong analytical skills and understanding of the role of supply chain and planning within the organization
  • Ability to build tools within and outside of previously developed system(s) to create scalable, repeatable processes to support monthly forecast requirements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate complex information in a digestible format across various modes (email, phone, video conferencing) and levels of the organization (front line production team as well as executive leadership)
  • Previous experience leading and contributing to an S&OP process
  • Ability to influence others in a productive way to create beneficial business outcomes
  • Strong prioritization skills; ability to quickly pivot on ever-changing business goals and to work in an ambiguous, dynamic environment
  • Proven skills in implementing and leading supply chain excellence
  • Strong understanding of technology, inventory software systems/Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), MRP, applicable metrics working within a data driven environment.
