Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Ensuring compliance with the State Director Plans for Drying, Post Harvest Processing, and Packaging of flower and dry plant material.
  • Environmental management of drying area.
  • Measuring, monitoring, and reporting of harvest and Packing Key Performance Indicator data and end of day reports.
  • Performing inventory recording and checking
  • Ordering supplies for processing areas
  • Ensuring compliance with all safety and PPE requirements for the area.
  • In conjunction with the State Director and Compliance / QA Manager, ensuring quality assurance and quality control of post-harvest operations
  • Oversee Maintenance and sanitation of processing equipment and Processing areas.
  • Compliance with Company policies and procedures.
  • Supervision of Trim Technicians and Packaging Technicians (dry flower products) and report Key Performance Indicator to State Director
  • Oversee the programming and/or set-points of all dry and cure room environmental control systems
  • Ensure that all Post Harvest department personnel have been trained in and certified by the Human Resources Department.
  • Ensure that all department personnel have been trained regarding The Worker Protection Standards Act of 1992 to include proper Mixing, Handling and Loading of chemicals if applicable.
  • Ensure that all supervisors complete required Employee Evaluations as communicated by the Director of Operations and/or the Human Resources department.
  • Ensure that all department supervisors are correctly trained in and maintain proper documentation.
  • Identify suitable employees to the State Director for further career path development.
  • Coordinate with the Production Planning, Data Integrity and Operations teams to review product assemblies for accuracy to ensure that proper cost analysis can be performed as needed.
  • Ensures the safe, accurate, and timely production of product packaging.

Experience and Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, but not required; 2-year management experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge & comfort with basic computer & office equipment operations (inventory systems; Word; Excel; office equipment such as copiers/telephone systems)
  • Work history showing progressive responsibility, willingness to accept additional projects or challenges
  • Proven experience in leadership roles for 1+ years; overseeing large teams with production goals
  • 2+ years of experience in cannabis; specifically the Post-Harvest function

  • Ability to manage all areas related to harvesting, drying, trimming and curing
  • Ability to manage a team of employees
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Ability to focus; attention to detail
