Duties and Responsibilities

  • Continuously monitors all inventory and data tracking processes, ensuring SOPs are being followed and updated as necessary. Assists the inventory manager with additional training as needed.
  • Assists the IM in the overall management, coordination, and supervision of all key data tracking functions in the department including but not limited to: Completing daily and end of month counts of cannabis products and accessories, discrepancy investigation and adjustments, monthly quarantine waste, and delivery intake and processing accuracy.
  • Supervises the Inventory Specialist in all daily activities and processes to ensure the accurate and efficient completion of all tasks.
  • Performs and ensures accuracy of daily and EOM counts with the Inventory Specialist and works with the IM and Inventory Specialist to identify and resolve discrepancies and inventory related issues.
  • Communicates and collaborates with the L&T department to ensure timely tracking and receiving of 1st party material.
  • Escalates concerns and issues to the IM as needed.
  • Works with the Inventory Specialist to receive all incoming 3rd party deliveries and confirm accuracy of all product prices, labels, and quantities before entering them into the electronic tracking system.
  • Communicates with 3rd party contacts as necessary for the sending of new labels or adjustments needed on invoices or manifests.
  • Coordinate with the IM to ensure proper and timely ordering of tags, labels, and other frequently used items.
  • Print necessary labels and documents to assist in proper tracking capabilities and ensures their accuracy to remain compliant.
  • Maintains a clean, safe environment in the company's secure storage areas and other areas of inventory use.
  • Coordinates with the Inventory Specialist to enter all product changes/adjustments into the electronic tracking system in a timely manner.
  • Other duties and special projects may be assigned as necessary, to meet the needs of the business.
  • Supervises retail inventory team members including inventory specialists, ensuring adherence to inventory management protocols and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Attend bi-weekly meetings with all inventory staff - prepare and present situational updates on processes, timelines, goals and report any issues or concerns

Requirements

Work Experience

Required Knowledge:

  • Position requires intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel software and/or Google Sheets (i.e. formulas and tools)
  • Excellent computer proficiency and operating office equipment (i.e. printers, copiers, telephone systems)
  • Basic Math required for inventory, projections, and counts
  • Prior experience with data tracking and accuracy

  • Skill at computer systems and scanning technology
  • Skill with tracking systems; Dutchie and METRC preferred

Physical Requirements:

  • Extended time standing, walking, bending, and reaching
  • Extended time sitting, typing and navigating computer systems
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds for a distance of 100 feet
  • Close visual focus and reading required
  • This position occasionally requires the extended and repetitive use of arms, hands and fingers to sort, label and pack
