Environmental Factors:
- This position requires working in an environment that has a high amount of plant matter and pollen. Areas of the facility reach high/low temperatures with high humidity levels. Employees may have exposure to conditions such as dust, plant matter, and particles that affect the respiratory system, eyes, or skin, depending on department job assignments. Employees are required to wear protective gear and have the option to wear eye and ear protection. Certain areas of the facility use harsh chemicals for cleaning such as bleach and can have repetitive movements. Employees should be comfortable and capable of working under all of the above conditions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the nursery room, including plant care, feeding, and maintenance.
- Maintain a clean, sterile environment
- Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair equipment as necessary
- Cutting clones from mother plants and ensuring their health and productivity until transplanting to veg.
- Responsible for meeting biweekly cloning quotas, maintenance of mother plants, and adherence to quality control SOPs
- Communicate with Facility and Cultivation Managers to address issues with urgency and effectively
- Performs all duties related to Cultivation Tech, including harvesting, transplanting, cleaning, plant care etc, and maintaining facility organization.
- Able to arrive on time and work scheduled shifts to meet business requirements
- Must ensure availability on weekends and holidays as needed.
- Other duties as assigned
Skill, Experience & Education:
- Must understand and adhere to all rules, regulations, policies, and procedures set forth by the state and company
- Must display accountability, proactive behavior, and strong attention to detail
- Must be able to stand and sit for extended periods, lift objects on a regular basis, and perform daily repetitive tasks including bending and reaching
- Must be able to work in hot and humid environments for extended periods
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lb
- Must be able to pass a respirator fit test
- Must possess the ability to adapt, tolerate stress, and respond well to change when required
- Must possess a high level of attention to detail for measuring and record keeping
- Ability to Climb Ladders
- Mathematical competency is desired
- Must always maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Must be 21 years of age
