Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with all inventory receipt, storage and distribution as needed
- Assist with the intake process by checking in deliveries against manifest & invoices to ensure accuracy
- Assist with the intake and processing of products at distribution warehouse including cleaning and organization.
- Package and distribute inventory transfers between store locations
- Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections at the start of every shift
- Load and unload product into vehicles upon start and end of each shift
- Inspect and care for packages while in transit, and carefully handle company vehicles
- Securely deliver time-sensitive packages to local retailers and facilities
- Obey all local, state and federal traffic and driving laws while driving a company vehicle
- Assist with data entry and regular maintenance of products and inventory levels
- Complete detailed daily reports associated with deliveries and pick-ups
- Conduct daily, weekly and monthly cycle inventory audits
- Audit product data and product laboratory test results to ensure accuracy
- Execute checks of packaging and labeling for products as needed
- Assist in troubleshooting inventory discrepancies
- Assist with product return & exchange logistics
- Ensure the retail team correctly signs off on all required paperwork
- Coordinate with Head Buyer, Retail Managers and other stakeholders to ensure adequate store stock levels and variety.
- Facilitate inventory communication between procurement team and Retail Managers
- Provide feedback and suggestions to Associate Buyers, Procurement Manager, and Head Buyer to continuously improve the procurement & distribution processes
- Comply with company security protocols, DOT regulations, CA Department of Cannabis Control regulations, and all company policies/procedures.
- Use discretion with sensitive and confidential security and business information
- Apply problem-solving skills to resolve issues that arise upon delivery
- Maintain and cultivate a professional and positive relationship with our vendors
- Maintain a positive, caring attitude, and treat customers/co-workers with respect and sensitivity
Basic Qualifications
- Associate's Degree or equivalent in professional and life experience
- Must be authorized to live and work in the U.S.
- Applicants may be required to take a background check after a conditional offer is made. Pursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, we will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Valid California Driver's License and clean driving record
