Pay: $20-$25 per hour, depending on experience

We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Associate to perform upkeep tasks such as repairs and cleaning. You will be responsible for applying basic fixes to equipment, building systems, and ensuring facilities are tidy and functional.

Please note that this position will performing maintenance tasks at V-Town Farms as well as the neighboring businesses in the shopping center.

Salary

$20.00 - $25.00 / hour

Role Requirements

Responsibilities

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Monitor the general conditions of company buildings and equipment to ensure high quality appearance and performance.
  • Perform cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, and disposing of trash to maintain sanitary conditions.
  • Conduct maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, hanging signs, fixing cabinets, etc.
  • Perform light repairs/fixes on miscellaneous issues like plumbing leaks, clogged toilets, etc.
  • Install appliances and equipment as needed.
  • Maintain company inventory of tools, hardware, cleaning supplies, etc.
  • Safely use various power tools to accomplish small repairs, as needed.

Physical Requirements

Physical Requirements: 

  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
  • Ability to lift packages/boxes, which are generally under 50 pounds.
  • Ability to crouch, stoop, reach, etc.
  • Repetitive use of arms, hands, and fingers.
  • Physical work is a primary part (more than 70%) of the job.

  • Ability to focus on work and be mentally present while on the clock.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with all staff members and customers.  

Skills and Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • High school diploma or G.E.D equivalent preferred.
  • Must be able to accommodate scheduling expectations including weekend, evening, and holiday shifts and store location assignments.
  • Selected candidate will be required to complete a post offer, pre-employment background check.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States.

Education

Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience preferred.
