Summary
**Job Summary**
The Processing Associate is responsible for assisting with the successful day to day packaging of our clients product. They work closely with their packaging machine and the packaging team. They are communicative, positive and detail oriented. They will have an opportunity to learn the ins and outs of our packaging machine along with learning each position of the operation which includes but is not limited to “driving” the machine, loading, quality control and basic maintenance and detailed cleaning of the packaging machine.
**Essential Task, Duties and Responsibilities**
Load bags into the packaging machine through a conveyor belt
Check all bags that the packaging machine produces to ensure that each bag is completely sealed, has a legible COA print and appears filled to our standards.
Move and organize boxes full of finished goods
Communicate with other team members about: opening and closing machine doors, starting and stopping machine, when bags or gummies do not meet quality standards
Ensure that the packaging area is kept clean and organized
Load gummies carefully into the packaging machine as needed
Check quality of gummies: color, consistency, full or partial coating of sugar
Demold and coat products as needed
Check the quality of gummies: color, consistency, full or partial sugar coating, size as needed
Report any issues that may arise to a Supervisor or Manager
**Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**
Must be age 21 or over - California residency with valid ID is required
Previous experience working with manufacturing machines is preferred but not required
Great communication skills, adaptability and detail oriented employees will do best in this role
**Physical Job Requirements**
Ability to stand for 8 hours, leaning over and lifting bins
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
