What the role is about:
What you'll do:
- Execute daily shipping and receiving tasks within a high-volume gardening distribution center
- Fulfill local customer orders safely and efficiently to meet strict delivery deadlines
- Process incoming shipments through organized unloading, breakdown, and stowed inventory management
- Utilize heavy equipment, including forklifts and pallet wrappers, to maintain warehouse flow and safety
- Contribute to a collaborative, fun, and results-driven team atmosphere
What you'll need to be successful:
- Maintain high precision and thoroughness in all tasks
- Prioritize and manage time effectively to meet deadlines
- Exhibit a courteous and professional demeanor at all times
- Balance speed and accuracy in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to service excellence
- Experience with inventory tracking computer programs is a plus
- Experience operating warehouse equipment (forklift, order picker, pallet riders, etc.) is desirable
- Ability to lift up to 55 lbs throughout the day
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
