Worksite Requirements | This role requires significant time spent in the field, with approximately 90% of the workweek dedicated to visiting stores, engaging with on-site teams, and assessing operations firsthand. Candidates should expect to travel frequently to various locations to provide hands-on support, ensure compliance with company standards, and foster strong relationships with store teams. This is not a desk-based role; success in this position will require active, in-person involvement in the day-to-day operations across multiple sites.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Sales, Business Performance & Financial Accountability

  • Drive and maximize sales performance to consistently achieve or exceed budgeted sales goals and profitability.
    • Lead and monitor district KPIs including Sales, AOV, IPT, conversion, single line items transactions, discount %, gross margin, and customer retention.
    • Oversee district P&L performance, focusing on controllable expenses and strategies to reduce OPEX.
    • Analyze sales and market trends to identify business opportunities and develop strategic action plans.
    • Partner with store managers to develop bi-weekly Gameplans for stores trending below 90% to goal.
    • Conduct consistent 30- and 60-day follow-ups with the Director of Retail on KPIs, productivity, turnover, compliance, and SOP performance.
  • Leadership, Talent Development & Performance Management
    • Champion leadership development by mentoring, coaching, and building a high-performing bench of Store Managers.
    • Require Conducting bi-weekly store visits, evaluating leadership effectiveness, team performance, and store execution.
    • Identify and implement development plans for all management staff across the district.
    • Attract, recruit, and retain top talent while building a succession plan across all locations.
    • Ensure consistent onboarding, training, and certification across stores in partnership with HR and leadership.
    • Lead with accountability and integrity, aligned with company values and culture.
    • Provide in-store support when staffing shortages arise, if the location is within a two-hour driving distance of your district.
  • Customer Experience & Brand Execution
    • Champion the RELIEF selling model throughout the district to deliver consistent, elevated customer experience.
    • Review and support customer feedback metrics (e.g., online reviews) and coach teams for improvement.
    • Maintain a strong presence across locations to ensure customer-first execution and adherence to brand standards.
    • Follow through on escalated customer concerns across the district to ensure resolution and satisfaction.
  • Operational Excellence & Visual Standards
    • Ensure execution of brand and visual merchandising standards in all dispensary locations.
    • Monitor inventory health across the district, including cycle counts, compliance audits, and DOH visits.
    • Drive implementation and continuous improvement of SOPs across all stores.
    • Conduct monthly Dispensary Checklists and submit to Retail Leadership for ongoing operational assessment.
    • Support store management in achieving operational excellence and regulatory readiness.
  • Communication, Reporting & Cross-Functional Partnership
    • Maintain proactive, transparent communication with the Director of Retail, Operations, and Store Leadership.
    • Serve as a liaison between field and corporate functions including HR, Marketing, Compliance, and Security.
    • Collaborate with Outreach Coordinators to support community engagement and promotional events.
    • Participate in cross-functional initiatives to integrate strategic objectives across field operations.
  • Community, Compliance & Culture
    • Ensure strict compliance with state and local regulations across all dispensary operations.
    • Lead with ethical conduct, collaboration, and commitment to the company's mission and values.
    • Cultivate a district-wide culture rooted in excellence, inclusion, accountability, and continuous improvement.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS YOU'LL BRING

Required

  • Age 21 or over
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Government-Issued Photo ID
  • Minimum 3-5 years of multi-store or multi-unit leadership experience

Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Management, or related field
  • Cannabis or retail industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to drive performance through KPI management and team development.
  • Strong financial acumen, communication, and leadership presence
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position.
  • Ability to travel frequently within assigned district.
  • Occasionally positions self to access products, materials, or files.
  • Routine use of computers, phones, and other office tools.
