Description

- Weigh wet or dry plant material.
- Prepare, Harvest, and package fresh frozen in a timely manner
- Harvest, hang, trim, shuck ,weigh, and dispose plant material
- Operate downstream machinery including processing equipment associated with, but not limited to harvesting, curing, bucking/shucking, and trimming
- Sample preparations and logging for analytical/compliance testing.
- Document all post harvest activities consistent with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Participate in commissioning and training on new process equipment as product lines expand or change
- Perform manual post harvest activities as required.
- Perform manual, semi-automatic and automatic equipment cleaning and sanitization, including controlled drying and storage procedures.
- Maintain Post Harvest facility spaces in a clean and hygienic state.
- Performs daily safety inspections of processing equipment.
- Contribute to the creation of and revision to Manufacturing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Perform minor equipment and facility maintenance activities.
- Utilize computer systems in the process of regarding detailed, regulated material identification labeling, location and inventory level tracking.
- Thoroughly dry cleans empty grow rooms and logs all waste after Harvest.
- Help with wet clean an additional plant work as needed
- Perform compliance activities regarding instrument calibrations and preventive maintenance.
- May help in other departments as needed/Other duties as assigned.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
- Ability to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Meticulous organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Interpret and follow complex, written, verbal and technical instructions.
- Must be able to adhere to company SOPs and policies.
- Learn complex technical procedures in a timely manner.
- Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to work quickly but efficiently, while maintaining the integrity of the product.
- Light to moderate lifting of up to 50 lbs; heavier weights with assistance.
- Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time.
- Repetitive motions and understanding of lab equipment.
- Must wear company-provided lab coats/scrubs, hair/beard nets, gloves, surgical masks, and safety glasses/ goggles/ splash shield, while working in the with product & in designated areas throughout the facility
- Must adhere to the New Jersey facility general hygiene requirements.
- Capacity to stay focused on the task at hand.
