Plant Processing:
- Harvest, trim, and process plant material by hand or using specialized machinery.
- Inspect plant material for defects using appropriate tools and promptly report concerns to the processing leadership team.
Data Accuracy and Quality Control:
- Accurately record data throughout the processing procedures, including inventory, weights, and measurements of plant material, in compliance with company protocols.
- Adhere to quality control SOPs and verify that quality standards are met during each stage of the process.
Department Maintenance and Compliance
- Maintain a clean, compliant, and safe work environment by promptly reporting compliance or safety concerns.
- Clean and sanitize the processing area as assigned, including sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing surfaces and equipment, and reorganizing stock and inventory as directed by the processing leadership team.
- Dispose of waste in accordance with standard operating procedures and regulatory requirements.
Performance and Team Support:
- Meet daily goals, processing objectives, and KPIs as established by management.
- Perform additional tasks and duties as assigned by the Processing Supervisor or Senior Production Manager to meet the needs of the business.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent - required
- Minimum of 1-3 years of trimming, and/or production experience - strongly preferred
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary focus and attention to detail.
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with colleagues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
Additional Qualifications
- Must be of the minimum age required by state regulations.
- Ability to pass state mandated background check(s)
Computers and Technology
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Ability to learn, navigate and accurately utilize the company's seed-to-sale tracking software (where applicable).

Schedule
- Available to work Monday-Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm ET, with flexibility for mandatory overtime as required to meet business needs **
